Dave is a passionate video production professional and a leader in
Wedding and Event Videography. His leadership and trademark
fluid shooting style have helped raise the bar for video production
professionals across the country. Dave has won several video
production awards was just named one of the top
25 videographers in
the country by EventDV magazine.
It Was In His Genes!
As a young teen, Dave Williams took an early interest in moving images.
Armed with his Super8 film camera, he directed his friends in backyard
action adventure episodes and short war movies. When portable consumer
cameras hit the market in the late 70’s, Dave became the family documentarian,
recording everything from birthday parties to family outings to ski trips.
His passion for video production grew at an exponential rate! |

A Unique Path to Success
Dave went on to spend twelve years in the
pharmaceutical industry, utilizing his talent for video production
in many aspects of pharmaceutical sales with Janssen Pharmaceutica
and Purdue Pharma.
Although corporate video production was extremely
satisfying, Dave’s true talent for telling stories using video
flourished when he offered to shoot a colleague's wedding (the
first wedding video that Dave produced).
Dave quickly earned the respect of the wedding videography industry and won
several awards from the largest local videographer association
in the country, the Greater Philadelphia Videographers Association.
Dave still sits on the board of the GPVA and is a regular speaker
at the International Wedding and Event Videographers Association
(WEVA) Expo in Las Vegas. Dave and DVideography have won multiple
WEVA Creative Excellence Awards and have become well known
for teaching Dave’s style of shooting to videographers around
the world.
Trademark Shooting Style
As a long-time Glidecam operator and a certified Steadicam operator,
Dave has developed a style of shooting and post-production that
is truly unique in the industry. Dave also produces dynamic
corporate and commercial work for clients through his sister
company, Media
Wave Video Productions.
Dave continually invests in training and technology, attracting
talented shooters, editors, and writers from across the Greater Philadelphia
